Ingredients
-
150g Cooked potato
-
1 tsp Ground cumin
-
1/2 tsp Turmeric
-
3/4 tsp Salt
-
1 Red onion, finely diced
-
100g Paneer, grated
-
25g Fresh coriander, chopped
-
4 tsps Flavour Hacks Green Chilli
-
4 slices White bread
-
2 tbsps Butter
Method
- Step 1: Tip the cooked potato into a medium mixing bowl along with the cumin, turmeric, salt, diced red onion, chopped coriander and grated paneer. Gently mix together, taking care not to completely mash the potato.
- Step 2: Lay out the slices of bread onto a board, ready to make two sandwiches. Spread the Flavour Hacks Spicy generously onto all 4 slices and then gently spread over the potato mix over two of the slices, taking care not to tear the bread. Cover with the remaining 2 slices of bread.
- Step 3: Heat a wide, thick-bottomed pan (ideally cast iron) over medium-high heat, then melt the butter. Lay the sandwiches into the pan, then reduce the heat to medium and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Feel free to add more butter if you like.
- Step 4: Carefully remove from the pan, slice and enjoy!
